We can help you find a real estate attorney in Brooklyn.
We live in very challenging economic times and many people in our community are having difficulty making ends meet. Of all of the debts that a family must take seriously, none is more important than the debt attached to our homes.
Your family needs a place to live and if you are behind on your mortgage payments, or afraid that you may fall behind due to new financial pressures, you should talk to an experienced real estate lawyer to find out what your options are. Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to successfully fight a foreclosure or modify the terms of your mortgage so that your monthly payments are more manageable.
If you are a homeowner with a problem with your mortgage company, or if you just have questions about the law and your options, please contact us so we can help you find a qualified Foreclosure or Loan Modification Attorney who is right for you.
The Brooklyn Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service is Brooklyn’s oldest and largest attorney referral service, and is the only referral service in Brooklyn that has been certified by the American Bar Association.
We can refer you to an attorney in any of the five Boroughs of New York, as well as the neighboring Counties of Nassau, Suffolk, Rockland, and Westchester.
We have over 150 prescreened lawyers with expertise in virtually all areas of the law. Each lawyer on our panel must meet or exceed very high standards of experience and qualifications.

After the first meeting with the attorney, you should discuss with the lawyer the cost of additional advice or representation. There are no further charges to you from the LRS and you are under no obligation to hire the foreclosure or loan modification lawyer to whom you have been referred.
